Côtes du Rhône - Mommessin Les Epices 2004
The Côtes du Rhône "Les Epices" is a delicious blend of Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault, and Syrah grape varieties. It is quite complex and well balanced, with plum on the nose. It has nice tannin notes that aren't overpowering. Mommessin is a French winery founded in 1865 in Burgundy, and is now located in the Beaujolais region. I loved this wine!
