Jules asked me to pick up a bottle of Chardonnay that she could add to the fish stew she was preparing. I grabbed a bottle of Two Oceans Semillon Chardonnay 2006, Western Cape, South Africa. It was quite tart and had hints of grapefruit and pineapple. Not overly fruity, and still a bit sour on the finish. Still, it had interesting flavours and worked well with the fish stew.
